This
class will focus on traveling around the floor, and we will
also show how to integrate almost any move into the
different styles of Nightclub Two-step - and explore fun
and challenging new variations! If you have only done our
classes, we will introduce another version of NC2-step done
in the region. Just like Salsa, which has at least six
different basic step patterns, every dance has more than
one unique approach.
Prerequisite:
NC 2 Step 1 or instructor permission.

Don't get stuck in a rut! Swing, like life, can be an glorious adventure. Learn to transform your favorite Swing moves into variations that travel around the dance floor. I (Walter) created this class over a decade ago in Seattle, and now other instructors in the region have discovered the fun. This dance is a basic for the girls and me. Now it is your turn to fly. Prerequisite: Any Swing class.

Probably
our favorite dance style, because it can be used with so
many styles of music. This dance is essentially modern
Foxtrot - smooth and fluid. The regional Salsa style in
Western Cuba happens to be very close to this version of
NIghtclub Two-step. Prerequisite: Any partner dance class
or instructor permission.

from Cuba, this dance is essentially slow (or triple-time)
Salsa. Every move in Salsa translates easily into Cha Cha.
Virtually every band, including Swing bands, play Cha Chas.
We use old and new Rock, Pop, R & B, and yes, even
Latin music for this class. FYI: Santana's hit tune
"Smooth", which is popular with all age groups, is a superb
Cha Cha. Prerequisite: Salsa 1 or instructor permission.

$60/person/6-week class series; $45 for 18 & under - or
when repeating a class; Free for 12 & under with paying
adult. Military rank E4 & below $45/class series.
Repeat
a class for $45,
except for Salsa 2, West Coast Swing 2, & Slow Waltz
(section B) which include new material. You will be amazed
at what you will learn the second time around. The third
time is free, if signed up for another class.
